Merry Xmas!!!

Merry Xmas everyone and this also means we now paving our way to year 2009!

What have I done in year 2008? Hmm....''fight'' in for the ''war'' in June, mostly. Yes that was the big part of my year 2008. And then 2008 is an important year for me as I struggled from living as a student to a pre-reg trainee, and I'm in working class now! No, it's not something to be happy bout, still prefer student life.

Cant wait for the trip to Bristol-London. And of course, let's get on with the once-a-year Boxing day!!!!!!

Wish everyone Merry christmas and a Happy New Year and stay happy & healthy always!

Life is short

As usual, working on Saturday and cant wait for tonight, as Christmas dinner waiting for me at home. All the way home, I couldnt stop thinking bout the food. Reached home and on my laptop.

A msn message by my sis popped up. Must be gossip again. No, unfortunately it's not. It's about someone passed away. My heart sunk. A relative of mine. She's not a close relative of mine but alot of images of her flashed through my mind. She used to visit alot of places and my grandma's house is one of her favourite stops. She used to teach us alot of things. And I remember her laughter, which is still so fresh in my mind now. Once I was still teenager and about going to school, she asked me to take a pic of myself. Well, I was so reluctant to do so as u know why. (Teenager with nerdy spec and "too proper'' hair). She told me ''Dont be shy to take a pic of urself so you can look back this pic when ur a grown up. And so ya, i was kinda forced to take it in front of grandma's house with books and the nerdy faceand I didnt smile. And I dont regret taking the pic now. She was right.

All I can remember is she was so healthy and fit and can go wherever she wanted at her age that time. I cant imagine her being sick really. Now that I received the news only that I remember I heard once from my parents that she was sick, but that was long time ago and I didnt know how sick she was. And I cant believe I wont see her forever now.

Life is too short. You just have to appreciate everything from the second you're born.

And do rest in peace.

Homebound

Reading blogs of my siblings makes me think of my childhood again. I dont know what others think of me, whether I'm a really homebound person or not. But I know myself. Deep down inside of me, I'm a really homebound person.

Since young, my parents always know I'm not as active as other kids. I like to "stick'' at home and I wasnt like other kids who like to hang out with their friends most of the time. Mom used to ask me to mix with friends. I have had always told myself that I must mix around since young, I know I cant ''stick'' at home forever. Whenever I went on a trip, be it school trip or graduation trip, in which it would be just few days maximum of leaving home, I would still be missing my home so much. I dont know why. My parents....grandma...siblings....aunts etc. And I looked around, my friends, I did figure out they were not like me.

And now here I am, living in UK without any of them. Is that called Independent? I'm not sure. But I really miss my childhood. I really wish the clock would just stop there when I was young. When I was still playing around with bro and sis, and cousins. As usual, whenever I came back here from Malaysia I would try to get rid of the sad feelings and tried to hold on my tears. I know I shouldnt be thinking negatively, but I do sometimes worry how much more time that I could spend with them as I might be working here for few years time and not seeing them much especially my grandma. I like to be around her, always.

I really miss being at home.

Guess this is just another emotional post.
